Commission
Terms & Conditions
Read these alongside your written proposal. It confirms your carousel in one selected aspect ratio, price and currency, delivery access, usage rights and revision scope before you order. These terms apply to new agreements; they do not amend an earlier accepted commission.
1. Agreement and scope
These terms apply to personal commissions when expressly incorporated into a written proposal accepted by both parties. An inquiry is not an order. Before you order, the written proposal identifies the provider and client, the provider’s registration and contact details where legally required, the deliverables, sequence timing, aspect ratio, resolution, delivery method and date, total price including applicable taxes, payment schedule, revision allowance, usage rights and applicable cancellation information. Specific agreed proposal provisions prevail over these general terms, subject always to mandatory consumer protections. The commission begins with a lived experience, interpreted through three original lines and three original monochrome images. One cinematic three-image sequence carousel is produced in the selected aspect ratio: 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape. The images are presented sequentially, one at a time, rather than as a still-image triptych. One carousel in one aspect ratio is included. File specifications, compatibility and delivery details are confirmed in the proposal. Source projects and physical products are not included. Changes require written agreement. Later website updates do not amend an existing agreement.
2. Fees and payment
Fees, currency, applicable taxes, deposit and due dates are stated in the proposal. Payment is arranged through PayPal after agreement, separately from creative inputs. Do not put memories or sensitive details in payment notes. PayPal processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy; payment records are not subject to a creative-file deletion promise. Work starts after written acceptance and receipt of any agreed deposit. Third-party expenses require advance written approval. Unless otherwise agreed, the final work and the agreed usage licence are released after full payment. Disputed charges should be raised promptly; undisputed amounts remain payable.
3. Revisions and approval
The proposal sets the direction and defines the scope of one controlled revision round. The client reviews the three original lines and three decisive visual frames. One consolidated set of feedback within the agreed direction is included in the controlled revision round. The creative master is then locked before movement is composed for the carousel. New directions, additional aspect ratios or expanded uses require a separate quote before additional work begins. Dates depend on timely materials, feedback and payment. Silence is not approval. The client checks proofs, dimensions, spelling, factual claims and intended use before approving production. Three Frames remains responsible for correcting agreed errors attributable to its work.
4. Generated imagery
Images are generated under human creative direction, alongside written lines and composition. The work is an artistic interpretation, not documentary evidence or a promise of exact likeness. Outputs may resemble other outputs. Copyright eligibility and enforceability vary by jurisdiction and protectable human contribution. Three Frames does not promise registrable copyright, absolute uniqueness, trademark clearance or exclusive ownership of unprotectable material. Known third-party restrictions must be disclosed before agreement. Exclusivity and trademark uses must be discussed before commissioning.
5. Ownership and licence
The written proposal specifies usage rights for the carousel. The following personal-use licence applies unless the proposal states otherwise. Unless a signed agreement provides otherwise, Three Frames retains its rights, to the extent they exist and may lawfully be retained, in the artwork it creates. After full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to save, reproduce and display the final carousel for personal use, post and share it non-commercially, and give it as a gift. This includes resizing, cropping and adding subtitles or platform music for personal sharing, provided you have the necessary rights to any added material. A gift recipient has the same personal-use permission. Commercial exploitation, resale, sublicensing, source files and use as a trademark are not included and require separate written agreement. Copyright assignments and exclusive licences require a written agreement. Drafts and rejected concepts are for review only. You retain your rights in material you provide; the commission does not give Three Frames ownership of your memories.
6. Client material and permissions
You may describe a memory without supplying a photograph. Only share material and personal information you have the authority to provide and authorize us to use, including photographs, text and likenesses, with permissions from depicted people where required. You can omit names, use a pseudonym for someone in the story, or ask for identifying details to be left out. The client grants Three Frames a limited licence to use that material to assess and perform the project. Confidential information and restrictions must be identified before sharing. Three Frames may decline or pause unlawful work or work with unresolved rights concerns. Each party remains responsible for its own conduct.
7. Confidentiality and portfolio
Both parties protect non-public project information and use it only for the project, except information already public, independently obtained lawfully, or required by law to be disclosed. Client work is private by default. Portfolio publication, attribution and case studies require separate written client permission. Sharing confidential or identifiable client material with a generative service requires prior agreement on the service and permitted processing. Do not send such material before those arrangements are confirmed.
8. Delivery and keeping your files
The proposal identifies the delivery method and any genuine download deadline before you order. This website does not currently provide a timed delivery portal or automatic deletion certificate. Save your final files and maintain your own backup when you receive them. If a limited retrieval window is separately agreed, it must state the exact deadline, reminders and actual deletion arrangements. Loss of a copy does not waive mandatory cancellation, refund, payment-dispute or other legal rights. Deleting creative files does not itself transfer copyright or remove record-keeping duties.
9. Cancellation and delays
You can contact connect@three-frames.com to request cancellation, or use any other cancellation method provided in the proposal or required by applicable law. Mandatory consumer cancellation, notice, refund and remedy rights take precedence over these terms and any proposal. The fact that a piece is personalized or delivered digitally does not itself establish that those rights are excluded. Before an order, the proposal must explain the applicable cancellation rules and any legally relevant request to begin work. Where no mandatory cancellation or refund rule provides otherwise, cancellation is accounted for by work actually performed and approved non-recoverable commitments, with the remaining prepaid balance refunded. No inquiry, checkbox or general acceptance of these terms waives a right that cannot lawfully be waived. If Three Frames cannot complete the project, it accounts for completed work and refunds amounts for undelivered work without limiting mandatory rights. Material breach should be notified with a reasonable opportunity to remedy where possible. Events beyond reasonable control require prompt notice and a revised timetable; prolonged delay may be resolved by cancellation and the same accounting.
10. Responsibility and limitations
Each party must take reasonable steps to mitigate loss. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party’s aggregate liability arising from a commission is limited to its total fee paid or payable. These limits do not restrict payment obligations, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, breaches of confidentiality, infringement or misuse of the other party’s intellectual property, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The work is an artistic interpretation of what you share. It is not a factual record or mental-health service, and no emotional response, relief, closure or change to memory is promised. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies prevail.
11. Privacy and inquiries
Providing initial inquiry details is voluntary. Three Frames, contactable at connect@three-frames.com, uses them to respond and administer a potential commission. Without contact details we cannot reply. The initial form asks for name and email, who the moment is for, an optional description and why it stayed with the client, and a preferred aspect ratio that can remain undecided. Reference material is requested after the first conversation, if useful. It does not accept photograph uploads or payment data. You may inquire without a memory; avoid sensitive information and details identifying other people. Submitting the form sends these fields to the site server and stores an inquiry, including any optional memory, in the owner-only tracker hosted on Cloudflare through Sites. A receipt is displayed after storage is confirmed. We attempt an acknowledgment to your email and a minimal owner alert using Resend. The memory and why it stayed with the client are not included in those notifications or automatically passed to a generative service. Resend processes email addresses, the inquiry reference and message content; messages and delivery logs may be retained by email providers. Delivery is not guaranteed and failed sends are not automatically retried. The on-screen receipt remains valid if no email arrives. Clearing the form does not delete submitted records. Unanswered inquiries are flagged for owner review after 30 days, not automatically erased. Accepted or paid projects require separate record-keeping review. A random retry reference and a 24-hour expiry may be stored in browser session storage, without the inquiry fields. Deletion from the active tracker does not itself remove exports, email or provider backups. If you later correspond by email, your and our email providers process those messages. Hosting and authentication providers may process routine connection and access information. The present service is not a zero-retention system: email, administrative records and provider logs or backups are not subject to a verified automatic 48–72-hour purge. Before production or supplying further creative material, the written proposal must identify the processing providers, purpose, access, retention and deletion arrangements that actually apply. Information may be retained where required by law or necessary for a legitimate dispute. You may request access to your information and correction, or deletion where applicable, using the contact address. No absolute deletion, no-logs or erasure-certificate promise applies unless a separately agreed and verified process supports it. See the Privacy page for the current inquiry flow.
12. Governing law and international clients
The agreement is governed by Israeli law, subject to mandatory applicable law. Parties should first seek resolution through written notice and good-faith discussion, without preventing urgent relief or limiting statutory time limits. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law hear unresolved disputes. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Changes apply only to future agreements unless both parties agree otherwise.
