Any moment…Turned into a visual monochrome sequence.

A picture isn’t worth a thousand words anymore.

A gesture. A reflection. The seconds after everyone else has stopped looking.

My name is Ily Kipperman, and I believe these moments, and a myriad of others, shouldn’t be overlooked.

Three Frames turns my own experiences and experiences people share with me into cinematic three-image sequence carousels. Three monochrome images and three descriptive lines unfold one at a time, in 9:16 or 16:9.

  1. Some moments come back to us as fragments.

    Bringing what you notice

Share an experience of your choice. An unfinished account is enough to begin.

  2. Finding what stayed

We will look for the gesture, absence, a change, or any perpetuation in what you share.

  3. Buried under analysis and the passage of time.

Crafting three sentences & three images

We shape your account into three descriptive sentences through attention, compression, and room for the unsaid. These will coincide with three original monochrome images, offering a shift, contrast, or different perception

  4. Letting it unfold

The result is one cinematic three-image sequence carousel. Each image follows the last, in either 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape.

From the journal

Before you begin

What will I receive?

One cinematic three-image sequence carousel, composed in either 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape. The three images appear one after another, with three accompanying lines. File specifications and delivery details are agreed in the written proposal.

Is this a still-image triptych?

No. A triptych shows three images side by side. This is a carousel: each image appears in sequence, with transitions connecting the three frames.

Whose experiences are the work based on?

The work draws on Ily Kipperman’s own experiences and on experiences people share with him. For a commission, describe your own experience or one you have permission to share on someone else’s behalf.

Do I need photographs or a finished story?

No. A few words are enough to begin, and you can ask a question before sharing the experience. Reference photographs are optional. They may guide important details, but the finished work remains an artistic interpretation.

Do I have to choose 9:16 or 16:9 now?

No. We can choose the aspect ratio together before production. Each commission includes one carousel in one chosen aspect ratio.

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

Your written proposal confirms the price, currency, delivery date, file specifications and revision scope before payment. An inquiry does not place an order. Inquiries are welcome worldwide.

Will my experience be private?

Personal commissions remain private unless publication is separately agreed. Inquiry material stays in the private commission tracker and is kept out of notification emails. Further sharing and processing arrangements are agreed before production.
